Middle School Education stimulates students of sixth, seventh and eighth grades with a challenging program that enhances the cognitive, psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual dimension of each student.

Middle School students go through an ambitious and engaging program emphasizing science, technology, and mathematics. The program includes an exchange with the Space Center University Exploration Academy in science classes and full immersion in rocket science with the NASA scientific journey.

Our program escorts the successful transition of students between Elementary and High School addressing the particular needs of adolescence in their quest for identity, personality building, supporting the building up of social skills and sense making of their own lives.

Academic Objectives:

  1. To stimulate the learning processes of students of sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
  2. To support the identity building of students that are transitioning from childhood to becoming young students.
  3. To support the cognitive search for knowledge and inquiry of the students.
  4. To raise the awareness of students towards the natural risks of growing.
  5. To understand the biological, social and personal changes that happens though adolescence.
  6. To build up solid foundations of students that would prepare them to transition towards a successful High School.
  7. To strengthen the scientific skills and knowledge of our students.
  8. To promote learning and interchange with international academic entities in the science field.
  9. To master the main skills of the Curie languages: English, Spanish and French.
  10. To promote the practice of sports and good physical condition.
  11. To reinforce great nutrition habits and good health practices.
Ara Macao camping is a holistic adventure of learning that places students in direct contact with nature. During three days or more, students enjoy and experience an intense program that broadens the student's perspective and enhances student's capacity for teamwork, adaptation to new environment and conditions, learning to survive and learning to enjoy and love nature, becoming more accountable and sensible to our contribution and responsibility for the conservation of our planet earth.
International Student Information Exchange is an immersive program that provides awareness to students about community problems such as: clean water, renewable energy, and air pollution. Students will reach this goal by working a long-term project in which they will share information, give and get advice, and propose solutions with other students from different countries, conducted through both virtual and presence-based lab sessions and STEM learning experience with different instructors from around the globe.
Space university is a challenging and exciting five-day engineering mission that facilitates teamwork, problem solving, communication and adaptation to unexpected problems. Students develop tools to improve their critical thinking skills, creativity, fiscal responsibility and drive to be successful.

The program encourage love for science through space activities and projects. Connect Curie students with one of the best center of space science development in the world and offers the necessary to Curie students through the interaction with scientist, professors and astronauts who share their love for the sciences.
